There are a lot of options when planning your trip to Alaska. You need to Consider the time of the season and what fish are in our area at that time and plan your trip around the type of fish that your are interested in. if you will go to the fishing section of our web site, we have a description of most of the fish that are available in our area and a fishing chart that shows when the fish have been in our area in the past couple of years. This should help you in selecting a good date for your trip.
Once you have selected a date for your trip and you still have questions if you will give us a call we will discuss the best time of the season for you to join us based on your fishing preferences.
You also should take in consideration that the runs of the salmon are very Unpredictable and they may vary as much as two weeks from those dates shown on the fishing chart which are an indication of what has transpired in the past.
Most lodges don’t like to talk about the weather because there is not much we can do about it. Generally the last two years we have had very good weather in our area, with hardly any rain in May, June, and July with light showers a couple times a week in August and September, but the fishing is so good our guests don’t let that bother them and the fish don’t mind at all.
